GROSSMAN EDUARD /JERUSALEM ISRAËL

Eduard Grossman was born in Kendige-Pogost, Komy Republic, Russia, and completed his M.A. in Painting and Graphics at the University of Magnetogorsk in 1980. He worked as a top artist at the Art and Design Institute in Tashlibinsk, Russia, throughout the 1980s before immigrating to Israel in 1990. Since 1991, he has been a member of the Israeli Artist Association and has lived and worked in the Sanur Artists' Village. Grossman’s artistic practice centers on painting, where he employs a vibrant palette and dynamic compositions. His works often feature abstracted landscapes and imaginative forms, created through layered brushwork and a rich interplay of colors. This approach reflects his background and the diverse cultural environments he has experienced. Drawing on his formal training and extensive career, Grossman continues to develop his visual language, exploring the expressive potential of paint and color within his compositions. His work is situated within the broader context of contemporary Israeli art, enriched by his Russian heritage and artistic education.
