''The Tosh Rebbe'' / Mikhail Chapiro
Rabbi Meshulam Feish Segal-Lowy (1921–2015), known as the Tosher Rebbe, was the Grand Rebbe of the Tosh Hasidic dynasty and a beloved spiritual leader. Born in Nyirtass (Tosh), Hungary, he survived the Holocaust and rebuilt the dynasty after World War II. He settled in Montreal, Canada, and founded Kiryas Tosh in Boisbriand, Quebec — a thriving Hasidic community known for its strong Torah observance and insulation from modern influences. Renowned for his holiness, warmth, love of every Jew, and powerful blessings, the Tosher Rebbe attracted thousands of followers. He passed away in 2015 and was succeeded by his son, Rabbi Elimelech Segal-Lowy.
